WilStone Planters are a new spin on an old landscape material. They employ the tough durability of stone and yet are gentle enough to support live plants planted directly into the stone! They are unique, versatile, durable, 100% all natural and completely customizable and are now available exclusively from WilStone Creations, LLC.

WilStone Stone Planters use the natural facets of real field stone combined with pots cut directly into the live stone to create individually unique planters.

WilStone Stone Planters come in a variety of sizes and shapes and are well suited for a multitude of applications. They can have pots from 2 inches in diameter up to 6 inches in diameter, and are on average 4”-6” deep.

These planters can be used anywhere! Each planter utilizes a unique drainage system called the "WilStone Water Saver System" to help conserve water for your plants! It is a revolutionary system that allows for water retention without drowning the plants. This new water retention system combined with the versatility of stone allows for a wide variety of uses for all of our planters no matter what size. For example our smaller planters make excellent indoor tabletop displays while the larger planters work well in retaining walls and garden displays. Indoor or outdoor the WilStone Stone Planters uses are as varied as one’s own imagination.

Our planters are made from 100% Real Field Stone the same stone that has been around for thousands of years in nature’s extremes without crumbling to dust! There are no man-made parts to this product—only raw stones that have had pots cut from with in them. WilStone Stone Planters require little or no maintenance rendering them so easy to use. WilStone Creations offers a one year limited warranty on all WilStone Stone Planter products manufactured by WilStone Creations, LLC. This warranty covers damages or defects of said products through “normal use” (as they are intended to be used). Damages or Defects covered include: cleaving, cracking, and splitting of surfaces or the product as a whole. This warranty does not cover plants or other materials associated with or used in conjunction with any WilStone Stone Planter product sold by WilStone Creations, LLC unless said products are manufactured by WilStone Creations, LLC.

In the event that warranty service is required, WilStone Creations, LLC requests that the product(s) is (are) returned for proper inspection. Upon inspection, WilStone Creations, LLC finds that the product meets warranty conditions; then WilStone Creations, LLC will provide the consumer with a choice of one (1) product of equal design that is of equal or lesser value than the original. Warranty service will be in the form of exchanges only, no refunds will be granted. There are no extensions or continuations of this warranty. The replacement product for regular stock products will be a product that is in the existing “Sales Ready Product Inventory.” For Custom or Special Order products a like product will be provided at the discretion of WilStone Creations, LLC.

Conditions for warranty fulfillment require that the damaged product be returned to WilStone Creations, LLC in full, and accompanied with a sales receipt. All warranty issues must be handled within (13) thirteen months form the date of sale on the receipt.

Uses or actions other than that of the products intended purposes will void the warranty. This would include; mishandling, misuse, physical abuse, and or failure to follow Care and Maintenance instructions.

WilStone Creations, LLC manufactures WilStone Stone Planters for the intended purpose of growing live plants, planted directly within the stone. Use of a WilStone Stone Planter product by the consumer for any purpose other than its intended purpose is up to the consumer and will void the warranty. In the event that the consumer uses the WilStone Stone Planter product for uses other than its intended purpose the consumer waives all liability to WilStone Creations, LLC and its affiliated companies. Furthermore the consumer accepts all consequences and damages as a result of improper use of a WilStone Stone Planter product.

This warranty does not cover damaged products sold "as is"; this warranty is intended for "sale ready" regular inventory, custom order and special order products in saleable condition only.

Place a piece of landscape fabric in the bottom of the pot. (This will prevent erosion through the drain hole.)
Fill the pot with a mixture of potting soil and garden soil, until it is about ¾ of an inch from the lowest point of the top of the cut. (The mixture and depth of the soil will help with water retention in the soil. The ¾ inch below the top cut level aids in watering and prevents runoff. You may even use a plastic pot that will fit in the planter to aid in plant and soil removal later in the season.)
Plant your seeds or seedlings in to the soil in the stone and water them.
After your plants are established, place mulch around them. (Use finely shredded mulch, this will help retain moisture and prevent any weeds from sprouting.)
Water and fertilize your plants as needed. (It is important to water your plants during dry periods. Like other planters when left in the sun valuable moisture can be baked right out of the soil leaving your plants dieing of thirst.)

Remove the dead plants and remaining soil from the planter. (This will reduce the chances, however minimal, of cracking due to the freezing and expansion of water within the soil in the pot. For added protection you can cover your planter with a sheet or plastic garbage bag to prevent moisture build up.)
Let winter run its course.
Start over in the spring!

Note that WilStone Stone Planters can withstand the snow and cold of winter as long as there is minimal moisture within the pot to freeze. Smaller planters can be moved indoors if desired to grow all winter long.

The entire WilStone Stone Planters product line requires minimal maintenance from season to season. Used indoors or outdoors the main issues encountered with WilStone Stone Planters are the plants planted within them. The problem with your plants is the same as with any other planter; dry, hot periods. Like other planters direct sun will dry out the soil in the planter and eventually your plants. Plant care as you know is up to you the grower, and like any good grower you will know when to water and fertilize your plants to ensure they stay strong and healthy.

The only other point that you should address with your new planter is handling. Your planter is made of stone and can still crack and split if mishandled. Please take extra precautions when moving your planter. Avoid dropping or striking your planter with other hard surfaces.

And of course BE CAREFUL—take the correct precautions and safety measures when moving WilStone Planters, they are heavier than they appear.

-Water plants frequently during dry spells.
-When planting leave about 3/4” of room between the top of the soil and the pot rim.
-Place mulch around the base of the plants.
-Use a mixture of garden soil and potting soil when planting.
-Consider where you plan to use your planter; use hardy plants for full sun locations.
